THE HERALD DROPS THROUGH YOUR DOOR

By Tackler

I had heard of a publication called The Herald circulating in Great Harwood. Today I found that a copy of the publication had been pushed through my letter box. It looked like a very professional full colour magazine and I was immediately impressed by the quality of the graphic design. It was only when I started to read The Herald that I realised what I had been missing. I was soon falling about laughing at the humourous items and the ramblings of Grumpy Git. Overall a good read so when a copy falls behind your door don't just chuck it in the bin, read it, it might just cheer you up!

The Herald was started about 3 years ago by David Wild in Rishton and Clayton as a 12 page newsprint distributed to 6,000 homes. Originally David distributed an annual business directory around Clitheroe and Padiham and launched The Herald to support the directory. The Herald was an immediate success and Clitheroe people loved it. Circulation increased and The Herald went out to 30,000 homes last June.
