Jae Swift has produced a new track called 'A Guided Tour of Oswaldtwistle' and I thought it was so good I would tell the whole of Oswaldtwistle about it. I contacted Jae Swift and this was his response:

Hey Gayle, thank you for the support. I've eventually started making moves after up to 5 years making music, I produce my own instrumentals, write my own material, and have just got free studio time, a photoshoot for Sun newspaper shortly and BBC 3 (possibly) in August.

Lancashire Police authority held a meeting at Elmfield Hall, Gatty Park, Church on Thursday 19th June at 7pm.

Apparently although crime has fallen in Hyndburn there are one or two things you need to keep your eyes open for. The price of metals has risen so much on international markets that metal thefts are currently very popular.

If you see someone on the roof of your local church or other public building they may well be pinching the lead from the roof especially if they are there after closing time.

Friends of Rhyddings Park have received £9,100 lottery funding from Breathing Places to develop an exciting bird box project.

The project will involve working with all the local schools around the park and will create exciting and unusual new bird boxes.

The project will start in September through to Spring. The full project will bring ornithologists into the park who will conduct walks and workshops.
